Ari's Bio

For the past ten years, I have worked as an illustrator on children’s and editorial projects. My specialty is character design, and I use a variety of media including watercolor, pen and ink, pencil, oils, pastels, and Adobe Photoshop to create my images.
I especially enjoy illustrating people and animals co-existing in a variety of
humorous predicaments.

I studied editorial and children’s book illustration at the DuCret School of Art in New Jersey. Currently, I am enrolled in the animation program at the School of Visual Arts in New York City studying how to get my characters mov’in! In my spare time I ride horses and I enjoy interior decorating, especially for children’s rooms. I reside in Murray Hill, New Jersey, close to New York City.
